We remember Stingray

In November, Reinhold passed away at the age of 50. Yesterday, his Sonja responded to messages and sadly confirmed that our suspicions were true.

He was not only member of Scoopex but also Scarab, Desire and also many more groups over the years. He made many contributions to the Demoscene, the WHDLoad project, an absolute mountain of cracks, and more. If you've played a WHDLoad game or ran a particularly old demo on a more modern Amiga, it's probably down to Stingray.

He leaves behind his family, group members who are in shock and a state of mind freeze right now, and many friends and contacts in and outside of the Demoscene. He was not a man to mince his words, and I can think of nothing else to say. It fucking sucks.

We in Scoopex would like to make a dedication, and if you were a friend, you can take part.

We're planning a Message Box style Amiga demo for release 22 June as a Memorial Book, and we encourage everyone who knew him to email stingray@scoopex1988.org with a message you'd like shown.

It's best if you keep it short, say 5 to 80 words or so, and please provide your (scene/forum/real) name. English or German is OK.
