Hello, I'm Photon of Scoopex. I've been a member of Scoopex Sweden since 1991 coming from Phenomena, but took a break from the demoscene between 1992 and 2005. So far, I've only made Amiga demos in assembler, since I believe the limits of the A500 1MB platform is the perfect challenge for any coder. To find out what else I'm about, see my About Me blog post.
My first demos combing back were Blitter Sweet and Xmas Demo, both made in the xmas break 2006 and 2005. I'm webdeving now and have a fulltime job, but hope to find time to assemble my old Stunner sources and make a nice trackmo.
Right now, the focus is on organizing Scoopex and coding new releases.
I'm born in 1971, weigh 80kg, and sometimes go teary-eyed dreaming of demos. I try to make as much time for some good introvert lock-me-in-a-closet coding Amiga as I can, but usually spend way too much time online. "I'm workin' on it." :P I hate forced activities and love doing stuff together (tm) as well as talking crap with friends.

Again a small utility, this time for chipmem-only Amiga coders who would like to force load apps in high chipmem to free low chipmem upto 512k, to revive old sources.
I.e. an app for myself again, haha. Darn :) Well, maybe it'll help some people with plain vanilla A1200s.

Rolled up my sleeves and finished this portable Amiga project roughly in time for the anniversary of its inception...
Maybe I'll have the time and energy to write a how I did it thing, but since I decided to make a minimum of holes in the chassi and keep it ultra simple, I think you'll have no trouble finding that out yourself.

ChipMap is a CLI utility to report chipmem chunks not used by Amiga OS.
It's definitely a replacement for my buggy ChipMon utility coded in WinUAE in 2005 using (believe it or not!!) AbsAlloc :)

Made a tiny utility for my own use in my startup-sequence, maybe something exactly like it is on Aminet already, but it was quicker than searching for it there :P
The CLI command returns a result from the combination of mouse buttons pressed when the command is executed. That allows you to conditionally execute some lines in the startup-sequence, like loading Workbench only if button is pressed, and so on.

Some more enhancements to my apartment room slash to-be studio, see progress so far...
Bought some laminated, uh, chipboard today (the boards arcade cabs are made of, laminated to look like my desk). I cut them up and made proper shelves for my monitors.

Yesterday was a busy day. Up at 6:45 to let Raffe the acoustic ceiling builder do his stuff, get my dog a furcut, and in the afternoon I drove to Gothenburg to see the Jean-Michel Jarre concert in Scandinavium.
In summary, 1) Both my old Canon A200 camera and the one in the Nokia E71 suck at total darkness with intense laser light shows. :) Well, that's a lie. They both just suck. And, 2) Jarre is still around and looking and sounding great, and 3) My ears survived without using the precautionary earplugs...

Mini-Xmas eve :)
Got a Casio Futurist cheap from Singapore today, to make sure I don't lose track of time. Been without a watch since... forever. :P
